Ðîáèí Âèêñ â ðåêëàìíîì áèçíåñå óæå áîëåå 20 ëåò, 16 èç êîòîðûõ ïðîðàáîòàë â ëîíäîíñêèõ îôèñàõ òàêèõ àãåíòñòâ, êàê Leo Burnett, WCRS, Springer & Jacoby è BurkittWeinrechBryant.  BurkittWeinrechBryant îí è íà÷àë ñâîþ êàðüåðó â äîëæíîñòè êîïèðàéòåðà.

Çà ãîäû ðàáîòû Ðîáèí áûë êðåàòèâíûì äèðåêòîðîì J. Walter Thompson â Âàðøàâå, Èñïîëíèòåëüíûì äèðåêòîðîì D'Arcy â Äåòðîéòå è Ðåãèîíàëüíûì êðåàòèâíûì äèðåêòîðîì Ogilvy Group â Öåíòðàëüíîé è Âîñòî÷íîé Åâðîïå, ãäå ðàáîòàåò è ñåé÷àñ.  ýòîé äîëæíîñòè Ðîáèí âîâëå÷åí âî âñå çíà÷èòåëüíûå ïðîåêòû ýòîãî áûñòðîðàçâèâàþùåãîñÿ è âñåðüåç çàÿâèâøåãî î ñåáå ðåãèîíà.

Ðîáèí òàêæå ïðåïîäàåò â Âàðøàâñêîé øêîëå ðåêëàìû (Warsaw School of Advertising) è âåäåò ñåìèíàðû â D&AD, Ëîíäîí (îáðàçîâàòåëüíàÿ íåêîììåð÷åñêàÿ îðãàíèçàöèÿ äëÿ äèçàéíåðîâ è êðåàòèâùèêîâ).

Êðîìå òîãî, îí íåñêîëüêî ëåò çàíèìàë ïîñò Ìåæäóíàðîäíîãî êðåàòèâíîãî äèðåêòîðà, ðàáîòàÿ â Åâðîïå è Ñîåäèíåííûõ Øòàòàõ.

Ñðåäè êàìïàíèé, íàä êîòîðûìè ðàáîòàë Ðîáèí Âèêñ, ìíîæåñòâî õîðîøî èçâåñòíûõ íàì ïðîåêòîâ. Ýòî åâðîïåéñêèé çàïóñê èãðîâîé êîíñîëè Sega Megadrive è àâòîìîáèëÿ Fiat Siecento, ãëîáàëüíàÿ êîðïîðàòèâíàÿ êàìïàíèÿ äëÿ Daimler Chrysler, à òàêæå ïðîåêòû äëÿ CIWF, Mercedes, McVities, Johnny Walker, Tanqueray è Lot Airlines.

Ñâîé ïåðâûé ïðèç íà êîíêóðñå British Television Awards Ðîáèí çàâîåâàë åùå â 1987 ãîäó. Ñ òåõ ïîð îí ïîëó÷èë ìíîæåñòâî ïðåñòèæíûõ íàãðàä íà êîíêóðñàõ Creative Circle, Campaign Press, IPA Effectiveness, Friends of the Earth, íà ôåñòèâàëå â Êàííàõ è äðóãèõ ìåæäóíàðîäíûõ ôåñòèâàëÿõ.  ïðîøëîì ãîäó Ðîáèí è ñàì íà÷àë ðàçäàâàòü íàãðàäû ó÷àñòíèêàì, áóäó÷è ÷ëåíîì æþðè ñðàçó íåñêîëüêèõ ðåêëàìíûõ ôåñòèâàëåé.
