«Track in advertising» award, meant to be an advertising «Oscar» for a contribution to the art, is awarded this year for the fourth time. Who are the laureates? «People, who have contributed to market development while working on their own projects,” – explains ADV-DVA advertising agency’s Director Marina Morozova, “These are the advertisers, whose performance has helped develop the industry».
The award laureates, says Marina, are the pioneers of advertising. These are the people who had carried out the first advertising exhibitions, organized professional communities – Advertising Union, Ukrainian Advertising Coalition. These are the people who first created advertising agencies in Ukraine based on the Western agency structure. These are the people who brought new advertising technologies to the country, offered new advertisement channels, brought the global terminology to the professional environment. These are the professionals who first brought awards from international advertising festivals, thus creating a positive image of Ukraine. These are the people who are involved in the legislative process to protect the interests of the advertising community.
«We don't want this award to be only for Kyiv-based agencies. This is the market award, and the whole of Ukraine is our market. This year, we have many regional nominees", - says Marina Morozova.
Four laureates selected out of 12 nominees will be announced to the advertising community on May 29, 2008 at the Kyiv International Advertising Festival.
The «Track in advertising» award is coorganized by the Ukrainian Advertising Coalition, «Galytski Kontrakty» Publishing House and «ADV-DVA» advertising agency, the general partner of the award is United Communications Group.
