Benoit Schmider
Benoit Schmider began his career in London in 1992 at World Writers working as a copywriter on BBH and Wieden & Kennedy accounts. At that time he was also admitted to the D&AD creative workshop. Upon his return to France in 1994 he began work as a junior copywriter at CLM/BBDO and then moved to Euro RSCG in 1995.
In 1999, Benoit joined Jean&Montmarin where he was nominated Creative Director in 2001 and from then served on the jury of all French awards for a total of 4 years. In 2002, Saatchi and Saatchi Paris hired him as Executive Creative Director. In 2004, Benoit was asked to become Co-President of bddp & fils. In 2005, Benoit travelled across the globe to Tokyo as ECD of Ogilvy&Mather Japan. Beginning from the October 2007 he joined Provid/BBDO in Kyiv as executive creative director.
During his career, Benoit Schmider won two Cannes lions, one in film for Dulcolax and one in print for head and shoulders, 2 shortlists for Getty images and H&S, 1 gold in Eurobest for Dulcolax, 1 gold in Epica for Ariel, 1 gold in New York for Dulcolax, 1 euro Effie on Toyota and all French awards on Barclays bank, Reporters Without Borders, Nomad of Bouygues telecom, Ariel and Head and Shoulders.
