KIAF is getting closer to Europe : Ukrainian agencies participation payments will be revised

All KIAF's participants and guests know that Festival participation payments are made in conventional units. 1 conventional unit is equivalent to 1 Euro for international participants. Ukrainian participants used to pay in UAH with a set rate of 1 conventional unit standing for 7,5 UAH. But because of the recent increase of Euro exchange rate, Organizational Committee decided to bring Ukrainian participants closer to Europe as well. As of April 1, 2008 1 conventional unit will change its set rate. The new cost of the conventional unit will be announced in late March.

Until March 31, 2008 current rate of 1 conventional unit for Ukrainian participants remains. Those participants planning on sending their contest works to the Festival in the nearest future have an opportunity to do so at the reduced fee. Participation cost will remain the same; for more information please see the Festival's website (http://adfestival.com.ua/ru/rules/pay).

"KIAF is a mirror of Ukrainian advertising and communication market and just like any mirror it reflects all market changes, - says Maxim Lazebnik, producer of the Festival. - I mean not only the increase in the exchange rate of the European currency. This year we prepare a very diverse and intense program of interest to  all market participants: agencies and companies, the consumers of advertising and communication services. All peculiarities and realities of modern advertising industry will find its reflection in this program".
