When Rietumu Bank opened their office in the remote city of Daugavpils, the message of the campaign was: Rietumu Bank turns the banking business from old to new. Your old bank in Daugavpils is to be replaced by the new services and characteristics of Rietumu Bank. This message was displayed by showing one of the typical old-fashioned trams that are still in use in Daugavpils: Rietumu Bank turned this tram from old into new by painting a high-speed train over it. The text on the tram reads: "It's time to turn the old into new."
